The OOO world principles for work

We believe that flexible, distributed work is a win whenever it is possible. For employers, going office-free provides massive hiring, retention, and productivity benefits. For employees whose jobs don’t actually require being together in an office, freedom from a central office means living where you want to with a flexible schedule that fits into your life.

But even without the office, employers still have a responsibility to take care of their employees’ health and well-being while they work. That’s why we’re sharing the three principles of work for the OOO world, according to us.

We believe that you should work where you can have the best job, and live where you can have the best life. Our employees are adults who want to be productive and can be trusted to decide how, when and where to work and live.

Employee compensation should be based on their contribution to the company, not on where they live or how they have been paid in their past jobs.

Even without an office, it is still the employer’s responsibility to make sure that employees have a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be offering solutions to the new problems that distributed workers face, as well as advice from people who are rising to the challenge of changing the way we work. The sooner employers understand the benefits of truly distributed work, the sooner they’ll get the best results from the most dedicated, autonomous people. For those who can, it’s time to equally distribute the kind of flexibility and empowerment managers have long enjoyed.
